POLICIES
Lead Times
Please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your illustration. Commissions are scheduled in the order they’re requested. If you need finished artwork by a certain date, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate this.
Additional Fees
RUSH ORDERS
I accept rush orders (i.e. need in less than two weeks) on a case-by-case basis depending on my availability. The fee for rush orders is $125.
ADDITIONAL DRAFTS
2 drafts are included. Additional drafts are $25 each.
Payment
You may pay in full at any point -or- put down a 50% deposit and pay the remaining balance before shipment. I accept pay-pal, venmo, zelle and apple pay.
Materials
Original artwork is painted on Fabriano hot press watercolor paper (100% Cotton, acid free). Digital prints are printed on Epson art papers with Epson ultrachrome inks.
Shipping
I ship twice a week (Tues and Fri) via USPS first class or priority mail. Additional costs may apply for expedited shipping or another carrier, such as FedEx or UPS. Illustrations are packed in a clear cellophane sleeve and shipped in a cardboard mailer.
The Fine Print
All artwork is for personal use only, and not for resale in any form. Please feel free to share on social media. A tag (@fromthebear) is much appreciated, as it helps me to direct clients towards sample work.

I can comfortably draw up to 5 figures on a 9” x 12” size paper. I try to leave at least 1” - 1.5” of margin around the image if possible. So more figures may mean smaller figures or narrower margin. You may choose to increase the paper size.

No. But keep in mind that the overall look of an illustration can change depending on the medium and how loose or tightly the illustrations are rendered.

Generally I draw everything, though kids and animals are what I enjoy drawing the most. I’ll note that as an illustrator, I don’t copy other people’s artwork. For example, if you’d like me to draw Peter Rabbit, it will be my interpretation of peter rabbit-- not a copy of Beatrix Potter’s character.

Yes, $12 each for an 8.5 x 11” print

If the change could have been caught during the draft phases and the draft was approved, then there will be a draft fee ($25) + reprint fee ($12). Changes will be made digitally.

While I loved making physical invites and printables, I no longer offer custom paper goods that i ship to you.

Yes! Anything for personal use is okay. Let me know this at the beginning, so I can give you the correct file types.
